Wellington based EMDR and Psychotherapy practice
We are all products of our life experiences.
The way we behave and interact with the world is strongly influenced by what has happened to us.
Poor early life experiences and trauma can hold us back. They can affect our relationships, how we interact with others, how we view ourselves and how we function.
Trauma is diverse and includes big T events, such as violent crime or motor vehicle accidents, or small t traumas which include having our feelings minimised or dismissed, experiences of feeling not good enough, being invalidated or rejected.
